What is stereo?

There are now two system of high fidelity, monophonic (monaural) and stereophonic. Monophonic is a system that starts from one microphone and is fed through a single high fidelity set. Stereophonic is a double system. Two separate microphones are placed at different sides of the orchestra and two different systems are used to keep the two signals or channels separated. Two separate speakers are used, placed on different sides of you room. Stereo is much like 3-D photography, two slightly different sound reach your ears giving you a new dimension in sound.

Rotel RT-622

Here is Rt-622, one of the finest tuners around you will ever find. FM section of this unit is truly a masterpiece; sensitivity of less than 1,7 µV, selectivity at 80 dB, capture ratio of 1 dB, and various crucial rejections of over 100 dB would definitely bring you most clear high fidelity reception. And with 40 dB stereo separation at almost no distortion, FM stereo broadcast will sound as superb as the original sound. In addition, muting switch with level control and MPX filter, as well as output level control on the  rear panel, compliment this total AM/FM tuner. A great companion to our Rotel RA-611 stereo pre-main amplifier.
