Even with warped records, this advanced tonearm design delivers outstanding results. Improved Low-Range Resonance Frequency Characteristics

Compared with conventional S-shaped tonearms, Onkyo's new straight low mass arm is better designed and equipped to handle today's high-compliance cartridges. The lower effective mass of this advanced carbon fiber arm greatly improves low-range resonance frequency characteristics, substantially reducing  undesirable subsonic signals in the process. Thus, reproduction is clean and clear, free from intermodulation distortion.
