C.E.C. Chuo Denki ST-130

 Direct-Drive Automatic Turntable ST130
Turntable rotational acuracy achieved in the ST 130 is attributed to the 20-pole 30-slot direct drive motor. Rumble has been almost eliminated. Wow and fluter have also been greatly reduced. The body designs is very compact with front operation.

Direct-Dive Motor
The high performance DD motor has been manufactured with precision and accuracy to provide unswerving rotational accuracy. The DD method provides motor-platter marriages for perfection in drive.

Acoustic Feedback Reduction
Acoustic feedback is almost eliminated with the original independent suspension design. A design based on vibreation damping cushions and balanced steel springs isolates the cabinet assembly from outside vibration influences.

 Oil-Damped Cueing
When the needle is placed on the record, an original iol damping mechanism makes the contact gently. No more damage to your records at cueing time.

Low Mass Straight Tonearm
A low mass straight tonearm with resonant frequency matching assures accurate tracking and gentle care for your delicate records.

Auto Return and Auto Shutoff
The tonearm is also automatically returned to rest and power turned off at the end of play. This feature frees you to enjoy play without worrying about the end of the rcord.

Pitch Control
A pitch control is incorporated to permit adjustments for the sensitive ear. Now you can play or sing along with your favorite recorded pieces without the noticeable difference in pitch.

  1. I have just bought one of these decks on the second hand market and the deck seems to work perfectly, except I cannot get it to produce a sound! I hear the record being played by the stylus I can see the platter is rotating at precise speed, (pitch control works fine) I have it hooked to a Kenwood receiver and I have tried hooking it up through a small preamp, in case that was the problem but still no amplifiable sound. Any suggestions?
