Pioneer CT-F2121

Like the name Pioneer itself, their CT-F (Front-access) decks have come to stand for the maximum in high fidelity performance, conveniance and reliability for audiophiles the world over. Now for the first time in this popular price range, they are offering a CT-F Series stereo cassette deck with excellent performance of our top-of-the-line models CT-F9191 or -F7171 and so on : built-in Dolby-B noise reduction and a special Dolby-compatible circuit format to match ; built-in MPX filter for ideal recording of FM stereo broadcasts; independent Bias and EQ switches for maximum frequency response and lowest distortion from virtually any kind of tape; long-life permalloy-solid rec/playback head for dependable and clean musical performance; a fully automatic stop mechanism which functions faultlessly in all modes, plus dirct-change operation levers, large level meters annd more.
And just to remind you again of the advantages of our front-load, front-control design, remember that it lets you "stack or rack" the CT-F2121 over, under or between other components in your system to save space and simplify actual use. Pioneer performance, convenience and reliability - qualities that are easy to imitate but dificult to match, especially at such an attractive price.

The CT-F 2121 extraordinary cassette deck with Dolby .
Unitil now, only higher priced cassette deck and reel and reel decks provided enough recording capability and features to match a sophisticated high fidelity system, but Pioneer's engineers, in two-year project, have designed the no-compromise CT-F 2121 deck to outperform anything in its under 200 dollar price class. We are truly pround of its accomplishments.
Its front-loading , front-control operation makes it fit easily into your system, under, above or next to your other components. As for features, the CT-F 2121 is loaded. Here are some of them:
[1] It has built-in Dolby B noise reduction circuitry. Recording signal-to-noise ratio is improved as much 10 dB with standard low-noise tapes - even more with the new CrO₂ formulations.
[2] There are separated bias and equalization switches to bring out the Ct-F 2121's fullest recording capabilities no matter what kind of cassette tape you use. And a chart is included to show you the right settings for most popular brands of tape.
[3] Operation is esy and unusually flexible. The Ct-F 2121's six-lever-type controls provide fast jam-proof operation. You can even change from one mode to another without going through the Stop position.
[4] the easy-to-see front panel cassette loading compartment is illuminated for instant inside viewing. Inserting or withdrawing a cassette is as easy as snapping your fingers.
[5] A long lasting permalloy-solid record/playback head gives you clean, wide-range sound. Sound of a quality never before possible in an under two hundred dollar cassette deck.

And an automatic stop mechanism that functions in any mode to protect both the deck and your tapes, two large, illuminated VU meters and pioneer's traditionally handsome design, and you can easily see how the CF-F 2121's incredible combination of performance and features is comparable with cassette decks costing much more. Pioneer's new  CT-F 2121 gives new meaning to the word "value" in cassette decks.
