Yamaha CT400
High-performance
FM/AM stereo tuner featuring output level control, noise-cutting Blend control
and clean, simplicity styling.
Make the
move to uncompromising component performance - without expensive extra frills.
The CT-400
offers years of clear, low-distortion AM and FM stereo reception to blend with
the finest audio system. At the same time it's a masterpiece of no-fuss
operation and clean decorator styling.
Sensitivity.
This is the ability to pull in signals-
even weak ones. The CT-400's superb 2,0 µV (IHF) sensitivity comes from
an FET-equipped FM front end, a type usually reserved for the most expensive
equipment.
Selectivity.
The CT-400 easily homes in on the station you tune, excluding nearby
interference with an outstanding 75 dB selectivity. This is assured by an FM IF
stage incorporating no less than six special ceramic filters.
Separation.
The CT-400's clear, rich FM stereo depth is provided by an excellent 40 dB (400
Hz) stereo channel separation. The secret is a unique balanced differential
type multiplex demodulator featuring integrated circuitry.
