Pioneer PL-A25 turntable

A combination of Superb Sound and easy Automatic operation. First,in this finecomponent, you get the best, the steadiest system ever devised to achieve steady turntable platter revolution - the belt drive. Adding to the steadlness is the aluminum alloy die-cast platter with its big 12" diameter. Very important, there is a system of automatic devices for the tonearm - auto lead-in, auto return, cut and repeat, making for very easy operation. The arm also has a lateral balancer for better stereo balance. The IM cartridge provides excellent response, and the entire unit is mounted in an attractive walnut cabinet.

 the finest Drive System
The PL-A25 employs a quality outer rotor hysteresis synchronous motor for constant turntable speed. The 12" aluminum alloy die-cast turntable, with its rock-steady flywheel action, is driven by a precision-made polyurethene belt that is unaffected by temperature, oil or humidity. The result is a high signal to noise ratio; wow and flutter are reduced to inaudible levels, and the overall sound is excellend

The PL-A25 is mounted in an oil-finished walnut cabinet with smoked acryl dust cover, styled to add eleganceto any interior. The cabinet is provided with rubber "feet" to absorb vibrations and shocks, preventing howling or needle skipping.

Improved Tone-arm
The PL-A25 employs a newly developed straight tonearm, designed to be used with light weight stylus  pressure for high compliance by reducing the weight of the tonearm itself and increasing the sensitivity of the pivot. The tonearm is provided with a lateral balancer for balanced stereo reproduction. It preventd drift of the tonesrm toward the outside or inside of the turntable. The tonearm is easily lowered and raised by the oil-damped arm lift to protect the  valuable stylus records.
