JVC L-A11 turntable

Auto-return Belt-drive Turntable

Features:
Dependable Auto-Return/Shut-Off Operation
Front-Control Convenience
JVC's Four-Pole Synchronous Motor
High-Sensitivity Tonearm
Low-Howl Cabinet

This dependable JVC model offers the hi-fi performance you've been listening for. And auto-return/shut-off operation, too. The precision motor on a refined belt-drive system, the precision tonearm - these two work together to give you the kind of sound you'd expect from a much more expensive turntable. Add to these the convenience of up-front control and the record protecting, energy-saving, auto-tonearm return and you're ready to enjoy your kond of music, your way. And the JVC L-A11 is not an "ears-only" model, its slim profile and attractive finish are delights for the eyes, too.

Auto-Return / Shut-Off Convenience.
Place the stylus on the first groove of your favorite record, then sit back and enjoy the music - leaving the rest to the automatic mechanism of the system. This uncomplicated mechanism permits the stylus to track freely (as on any first-class manual) until the stylus enters the lead-out grooves of the record. Or, until you trigger the Reject control.
If you desire, you can use the JVC L-A11 as a manual; put the stylus on the groove of your favorite selections, regardless of the arranged sequences of the record. Use the oil-damped Cue lever to avoid accidents. For further convenience, the Reject control is up front, you can send the tonearm home even with the dust cover closed

Low-Rumble Belt-drive System
A four-pole synchronous motor is coupled with a time-tested belt-drive system in this unit for silent and reliable operation. It maintains very close tolerance in speed accuracy regardless of changes in loads or power voltages, wow and flutter is less than 0,06% (WRMS) and the Signal-to-Noise Ratio better than 63 dB (DIN-B). The platter is die-cast of nonferrous material for ideal smooth rotation. You hear only what's on the record , not what's under it.

No Acoustic Feedback, No Muddiness
Muddiness in bass notes is caused by poor insulation and suspension of the motor, cabinet and tonearm of a turntable. Never will you be forced to hear it, for we've provided the JVC L-A11 with a number of features to end low-frequancy Muddiness, shutting out all acoustic feedback.
First, the cabinet is made of a special HDP (High-Density_Pararesonance) compoud with high specific gravity and fast resonance-attenuating response. Second, special configuration insulators are on the bottom of the turntable to resist sympathetic vibrations, particularly from a lateral direction.

High-Sensitivity Tonearm and more.
JVC has developed a new Dual-Contact Angular Bearing. It makes the tonearm more sensitive than usual. It also reduces mechanical error. You're assured of accurate stylus tracking over years and years. The arm rides on the statically-balanced support; mistracking, distortion, channel imbalance, undue record wear are all avoided. Also provided on the turntable are: anti-skating device, and direct-readout tracking-force dial.

  1. Thank you, I enjoy mine. Had to fix the tonearm mechanism, it was not returning or shutting off. The axis of the tonearm was loose underneath
