Luxman LV-113 amplifier

This integrated amplifier has been designed for highest sonic purity. Triple Darlington outputs and driver topology, optical and coaxial direct digital inputs with built-in DAC. 4 fold oversampling filter, high current high power output into low impedance loads, massive power supply and heatsink designs, all contribute to the achievement of this goal.

  1. I just got an LV-113 to temporarily replace my Sansui AU-717 while it gets overhauled. I love the sound of the LV-113 in comparison but am confused about the use of the tone controls. As expected when my source (computer) is connected by way of a graphic equalizer to the sound processor jacks, the tone controls do not work as they are downstream to prevent double boosting. However, when any source is connected straight line (CD, Tuner), the tone controls still do not work even though this mode bypasses the signal processor mode. I can't figure out what I am missing.
