The AE3 is a high
power, trhee-way loudspeaker featuring "Metal-cone" low-frequency and
mid-range drive units. The well proven 130
mm (5") "Metal-Coe" drive unit, as used in the AE!, has been
further developed and is used int he AE3 in a mid-range form in a heavily
damped tubular transmission line enclosure within the main enclosure. The AE3 has the
power and scale of much larger speakers but retains the dynamics, transparency,
speed and detail of the AE1. "Metal-Cone"
