The JT-V22 FM/AM Stereo Tuner is a recommended match for JVC's latest JA-S model "DC" stereo integrated amps; JA-S55, S44, and S22. like the more expensive model, the JT-V22 performs as a radio receiver and as a high-fidelity audio component with equal excellence. Thus selectivity is as high as 70 dB, while distortion as low as 0,35% (stereo) and frequncy response flat up to as high as 15 kHz. FET RF Amp in Fronted

The frontend of the JT-V22 captures faint radio signals accurately and rejects all interfering signals effectively thanks to its FET radio-frequency (RF) amplifiers and a frequency-linear 3-gang tuning capacitor.

Selective FM/AM IF

In the FM IF we've employed an array of newly-developed ceramic filters that feature high selectivity and flat phase response for musical reproduction. The JT-V22 thus boast 70 dB selectivity and 0,35% Total Harmonic Distortion (stereo). The IF section for Am also has a new ceramic filter that improves. AGC (Automatic Gain Control) characteristics however high or low the strength of received signals, you're assured of clean, undistorted AM sound.

IC Construction for Complete Reliability

Three high-integration ics , one each for the FM IF, Pll Multiplex and Am RF/IF sections, guarantee dependability.  They never will require servicing. The PLL IC for stereo demodulation particularly improves stereo reception, making channel separation wide, distortion low.

Twin Extra-Large Tuning Meters

The JT-V22 features two extra large tuning meters, one for FM/AM signal strength and one for FM centre-of-channel tuning. Since they are responsive and accurate, you can depend on them to visually represent audibly ideal tuning.

Muting Switch

To make station selection comfortable we've equipped the JT-V22 with a muting circuit. And to permit you to receive faint signals below the muting level you can switch the circuit off.

Smooth-Tune Mechanism

Your FM listening fun depends a lot on a smooth-working, accurate tuning mechanism. For the JT-V22 we've provided an extra-wide 240 mm tuning dial with frequency-linear calibrations. The tuning knob is coupled to a heavy flywhell for fast scanning and easy pinpoint stations selection.

Universal-Joint AM Bar Aerial

The universal-join bar on the JT-V22 can be rotated in-nearly all-directions. Orientable it in the direction where you'll get the whine-free, beep-free AM reception. You may find AM sound is not all bad as you thought after all, with the JT-V22
