MONRIO Asty Line MkIII

The construction of the Asty Line is at once simple, careful and robust, it uses a bottom plate in steel which support PC Boards and power transformer. Top cover is made in aluminium painted in silver.Faceplate is built on 10mm thick of machined aluminium. Finish is silver brushed and anodised. Knobs are machined from solid aluminium, hand polished and painted in silver finish. Control functions include on/off power switch, Mute switch input selection and volume. Volume is remotely controlled by a supplied “Monrio Design” remote handset. Four single-ended input and two balanced input sources are accommodated, with two sets of single-ended main outputs, stereo balanced XLR and one set of fixed-level tape outputs. The passive components are of top quality: tube socket is ceramic; metal film 1% precision resistors are used all over the circuit; power supply decoupling capacitors are double-bypassed utilizing polypropylene caps for more linear high-frequency current delivery with no compromise to speed or extension. On the output stage an oil impregnated metallised paper dielectric capacitor has been chosen for its long-term capacitance stability that achieve really constant performance in audio reproduction.
Combining the most advanced, triode/junction FET hybrid topology and solid-state regulation - without any feedback - the Asty Line is a remarkable performer. This also reduces the output impedance to about 100 ohms - capable of driving any power amplifier, tube or solid-state. It is the answer to the impassioned quest by music lovers for a high performance, reliable and affordable tube preamp. While conventional tube preamps have always been recognized as the ultimate, and expensive, way of listening to music there have been serious impediments to wider scale use. The rumors you heard about conventional tube circuitry are true, tube preamp are expensive, tubes can get noisy and you can’t get much gain from a tube circuit. The Asty Line hybrid tube/FET circuit eliminate all of these conventional problems and gives you the sound quality of tube and the reliability of solid state. The only way to bring the sound quality of tubes to the masses is by eliminating the tube tremors. By integrating FETs with tube we eliminate all the weakness of tubes and preserve their unique ability to reproduce real music. The preamp circuitry uses FETs in those sections that are stressed and usually create noise, in addition, the FETs eliminate all tube microphonics. In the Asty Line all of the audio information appearing at the input including imaging, dynamics, purity, and musicality are preserved completely and delivered to the output without any distortion or alteration. One of the design factors that is responsible for the Asty Line level of performance is the sophisticated multiple tiered solid-state regulated power supplies independent for each channel. A shielded toroidal transformer, with various secondary wiring, provides the separate voltages for filament, high voltage, FET input stage and services. The 6922 has 220VDC fully regulated by a transistors regulators. Its filament is powered at 6.3VDC from a filtered and regulated supply. The choice of full regulated power supply allows the tube to receive stabile and clean power supply. The switch-on is delayed, through a relay, in order to preserve tube life.Instead of chassis wiring which can create sonic problems, the Asty Line has no wiring. There is a small amounts of wiring required to connect signals between input/output PC Board and gain block PC Board.

MONRIO MP-11

The MP11 represents the first modern-day effort to utilize the proven superiority of the vacuum tube input stage connected to an amazing ICEPOWER® output stage. It uses a 12AU7 front-end tube. Its purpose is to provide the differential signal for true balanced operation. Tubes are superb in preamp stages – they are linear and circuits may be kept very simple. When the very frail signal coming from the source passes through very few devices that are inherently linear, less damage will be done.Careful attention has been given to the tube power supply. A stable, well-regulated power supply is used throughout the preamp section. The MP11 uses a three terminal IC voltage regulator to supply the heaters of the vacuum tube. This ensures that the cathodes of the tube are operated at a constant temperature regardless of the current AC line voltage. The characteristics of each triode section, and therefore the voltage gain of each amplifier stage, are strongly affected by the temperature of the cathodes. Regulating the voltage supplied to the heaters also helps to minimize tube generated noise in the circuitry. Regulation of the high voltage supplies is also necessary for optimum preamplifier performance.
Utilizing a unique design topology capable of adapting to any of today's audio and video system needs and reproducing sound with the unmistakable Monrio rhythmic drive and musical integrity. At the first sight the MP11 Monoblock Power Amplifiers may appear receptively small, but don’t be misled by their surprisingly compact size - each Monoblock is capable of generating 500 watts of peak power into 4 Ohm. They will optimize the performance of any loudspeaker and create an utterly stable three-dimensional soundstage with realistic dynamic response and a wealth of musical detail. The MP11 offers an unprecedented alliance between power and efficiency in a small and elegant chassis. It features iron die-casting, combined with aluminium extrusions and covers, which together result in a rigid case that offers great immunity to the effects of external vibration. With both balanced and single-ended inputs, the MP11 offer compatibility with any source component. Compact size and light-weight are perfect for multi-channel use, the MP11 offers maximum system flexibility for use in audio-video applications and, most important, its very low operating temperature allow for flexible placement in any listening environment.Switchable XLR and RCA inputs, twin pairs of five-way binding posts for biwiring and a convenient Stand-by button on the front panel complete the exterior. MP11 Monoblock System is a unique listening experience.

FAIRCHILD Series 412

Fairchild offers functional perfectionof well designed, precision manufactured equipment. This is exemplified in the Series 412 turntables.

There are two basic techniques used for driving a turntable. one isthe use of idler pucks that touch the motor shaft and the inner rim of the table. The other is through the use of resilient belts, looped over the motor pulley and the around the turntable. Fairchild employs the latter method with certain modifications. Here's why?

Direct drive of puck to table rim transmits a high degree of motor noise (rumble). As the puck wears, flats or slick spots develop. This means increasing wow and flutter as thetable is used. Onthe other hand the belt drive should theoretically absorb most of the motor rumble . However, a bit of simple arithmetic points up a problem. With a turntable dimension of 12" and speed of 33 rpm, the motor pulley on an 1800 rpm motor turns out to be less than ¼. Slippage results. To overcome this, all belt turntables (except Fairchild) resort to non-resilient fabric belts, negating the one important advantage of the system. Fairchild uses the technique proved in the famous Scully Lathe - the device used for the professional recording of disc - the double belt drive.

By use of two belts, and an intermediate step-down idler, the diameter of which stays nearly 1", slippage ceases to be a problem, and stretchable rubber belts may by used. Instead of the usual 54:1 step-down, the ratio never exceeds 13,5:1. The rumble level of all Fairchild tables is a minimum of 8 dB better than the NARTB standards for professional tables - the lowest rumble figures in the industry. By the way, Fairchild is the only turntable to specify vertical rumble as well as lateral rumble. This is especially important with stereo. You hear only the music.

Another basic function of a turntable is to turn at the correct speed, and to keep that speed constant. No Fairchild turntables will ever rewrite the music of your favorite composer by causing pitch changes due to incorrect speed. And the music will be clear and beautyful, without the sire wail of wow.

All Fairchild turntables use an extremeley accurately balanced hysteresis synchronous motor, with high starting and running torque. There is never any speed variation due to line voltage or load variations.

The other factor affecting wow and fluttreis the turntable itself. Fairchild has taken particular pains in this regard, too. The table is a heavy aluminium casting, with five webs. The outer portion of these webs support a ring of "Densite" a heavy , acoustically dead material.

The result is a table with high moment of inertia, dimensional stability, and an absolute absence of sharp resonances (ringing) in the audible spectrum.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Rumble figures generally quoted in the industry make no reference to the specifications or test methods utilized. Fairchild and only Fairchild, tests and publishes its specifications in accordance with the applicable NARTB requirements for professional turntables.

All Fairchild turntables are INDIVIDUALLY tested on a specially designed and built vibration-free platform, and ALL must pass these test with the following results:

NARTB PROFESSIONAL - Fairchild Test

SANSUI CA-3000

Stereo Control Preamplifier RIAA 0,2 dB Equalization

OUR FINEST STEREOCONTROL PREAMPLIFIER

Contemporary disc recordings which feature extremely wide dynamic range make strenuous demands on all links in the reproduction chain, especially in the pre and power amplification stages. Dynamic range and other critical high fidelity parameters, such as a wide frequency response, low distortion and the ability to handle all musical signals without clipping and without an increase in noise, must also be applied to any preamplifier if one is to accurately judge its quality. Add to these the control versatility needed in a complex component set-up, and the power stability required for dependable performance, and you have described the CA-3000.

CIRCUIT CONCEPT

To maximize the qualities of every link of the circuit chain, each circuit in the CA-3000 has been constructed with newly developed unit amplifiers featuringextremely high input impedance and low output impedance. Each uses a differential amplifier at its input and an emitter-follower or a SEPP buffer amplifier at its output. From the standpoint of performance this means that an individual circuit remains unaffected by the preceding circuits. Each thus handles the applied signals with the highest accuracy and the lowest possible distortion.

EQUALIZER

The vital phono equalizer is a newly-designed unit with a packed differential dual FET amplifier (with a matched pair of low-noise FET's) at its initial stage and a Class-A complementary SEPP amp at its output. The initial stage amplifies the phono signal with high gain and passes it on to a CR filter for an extended high-frequency equalization. From the second FET amplifier is applied NF (negative feedback), boosting bass for an accurate low-frequency equalization. This CR-NF sequence eliminates the dips and peaks in the RIAA equalization curve, improves phase characteristic and adds almost no distortion. Results: crisp and realistic tonal quality from any or all of the cartridge now on the market, with maximum deviation from the RIAA curve of ±0,2 dB over a 30 to 15,000 Hz spectrum.

DYNAMIC MARGIN

A plus/minus 50 V (total 100 V) power supply voltage is applied to the phono equalizer amplifier. With its Class-A complementary SEPP output stage, the equalizer thus has a maximum phono input capability as high as 1,000 mV (input sensitivity switch at 6 mV).This design guarantees wide dynamic margin. large input signals (fortssissimo) are never clipped; small inputs (pianississimo) are never buried.

Out came standard components in went the latest breakthrough in MOS computer circuitry.  So all Accutrac's operations are controlled and programmed far more quickly and efficiently than any other automatic turntable.  The control panel is designed for you to select up to 13 tracks in any order you want to hear them, and a 24 selection memory bank allows for programmed repeats.

The motor that keeps an eye on itself.
We replaced the conventional belts, whels and pulleys with an electronically controlled direct drive system that keeps wow and flutter to a completely inaudible 0,03% and rumble at -70 dB. The motor contains electronic speed-sensing circuits, which keep a constant eye on the accuracy of the massive 12 inch diecast turntable's speed, and instantly corrects any error.  There's also a speed tuning circuit that lets you vary the speed over 5%. A glance through the stroboscope provides a reliable speed check.
What you hear is as incredible as what you see.
Because the Accutrac servo-motor which drives the tonearm is decoupled the instant the stylus goes into play, both horizontal and vertical friction are virtually eliminated. That means you get the most accurate tracking possible and the most faithful reproduction.
 The tonearm you never touch.
We did some more eliminating. Out went the noisy linkages that power automatic arms from the main turntable drive motor. Out went velocity-sensing mechanical arm-trip mechanisms. Out went all the clumsy cams and gears.  Instead. Accutrac's tonearm is moved by its own electro-optically controlled servo-motor. It responds instantly and silently to your programme in the turntable's memory bank.
Tracking error is minimised by the arm's 237 mm (9 ½ ") effective length, and horizontal and vertical bearing friction has been reduced to the negligible level of 5 -7 mg, due to Accutrac's new ball race and pivot system.  From the instant the stylus touches the record, the arm is totally decoupled from the servo-motor and controls, so it always track the groove with perfect freedom.
The cartridgebthat knows where it's going.
Accutrac has the most advanced carteidge in the world.
The ADC LMA-1
It scans the surface of the record with a tiny bearm of light from a soild-state infra-red generator.
When the beam is focused on the record, closely spaced grooves scatter the light, while the smooth surface between the tracks reflects the arm amechanism. This system ensures that the tonearm selects the right track quickly and smoothly, while accuately guaging where it begins and ends. The low mass cartridge with its elliptical stylus, features the induced Magnet system on which ADC built its enviable reputation.   It combines a strong, accurate, signal output with a ¾ to 1 ½ gram tracking ability.
The integrated design of the tonearm and cartridge results in minimal arm mass and an ideal tonearm resonance between 8 - 10 Hz

It's all at your command.
As you see, Accutrac has some very intriguing features, quite apart from the turntable. What looks like a pocket calculator is actually a cordless command module. So you have remote control. The sculptured space-age object is the receiver for the turntable's memory bank. It's  "winking eye" tells you that your commands have been received.  Then you just sit back and enjoy what we hope you'll agree is the main attraction; the sheer excellence of the sound reproduction.

ULIX CINZIA

Amplifield stand monitors with A class monotriode valves

If you love natural and non artificial music, if you cannot stand tonal control, if you do not think that it is the watts that are playing and filling the mouth with multinational molts, you will not be stunned when you hear that 8 watt mps can fill a 40 square meter room with a divine sound.

If you think that the best amplification is the valving, but that is depends on the configuration, you will find an amplifier with A class monotriode valves.

If you love to have valuable objects where the wood is real wood, manually worked and ennobled, where every piece is unique and not just a party dress without a fragrance.

If you are all of the above then cinzia is your sound box
