Onkyo TA-RW66

The TA-RW66 is a highly versatile double cassette deck with auto reverse, automatic tape selection and Onkyo's superbly engineered soft touch mechanism. Along with these single deck features the system offers a choice of dubbing at regular or high speed. So wheter you're recording from a broadcast, compact disc or other source, this double cassette system makes your recording foolproof and easy.

Two cassette transport and auto reverse.
The TA-RW66 is two cassette deck in one unit that allows you to enjoy all the recording and playback features of a single stereo cassette tape deck with the added convenience of a second tape transport system that makes dubbing and other tape editing tasks a breeze. Tape-1 has both recording and playback capabilities. Tape-2 is for playback only with auto reverse so the listener can set  the controls for playback of one side both sides of a tape

High and Normall Speed Dubbing
To save time, the TA-RW66 has a high speed dubbing function that cuts waiting time in half. When copying both sides of a C-60 cassette, for example, only 30 minutes is needed. A dubbing selection switch allows you to choose between normal or high sped dubbing.

Unitized Die-Cast Head Mount
Many audiophiles feel auto-reverse decks are inferior to uni-directional decks because of the small difference in sound quality between the forward and rverse tape transport directions. Whit the TA-RW66, however, this is no longer a problem. Onkyo guarantees virtually identical frequency response and other specifications in both directions by mounting the rec/pb and erase heads on a precision-made die-cast block with dual azimuth adjustment.

Automatic Tape Selection
With the automatic tape selection ystem in Cassette 2, the deck itself automatically detects the type of tape inserted and adjust the bias current accordingly. So guesswork and the chance of forgetting to adjust the bias setting and spoiling your recording are eliminated. Of course, Cassette 1 has  its own tape selector to allow dubbing of two different types of tape.

Pioneer HPM-60

Clearly Defined Image Projection from 60 watt. 4-way, 4-speaker Bass-reflex System with Carbon Fiber Blended Woofer and High Polymer Supertweeter.

When a speaker system as unusually well designed as the Pioneer HPM-60 goes to work, the meaning of musical "realism" is well beyond words. Pioneer's success with the unique woofer cone material called "Carbon Fiber Blend" is now well known throughout the high fidelity world, as is the Pioneer development of a High Polymer Supertweeter that ends narrow-beam tweeter directionality and assures a more natural, cleaner high-end reproduction. Both these remarkable innovations and more besides are included in the 4-way, 4-speaker HPM-60 system.
They contribute to very clearly defined sound image projection for the most realistic musical reproduction Pioneer's technical knowhow has yet achieved in such a compact, attractively priced system.

Special features, level Controls.
Individual controls are provided for the Mid and High frequency ranges, and when set at "0" a suggested output characteristic is obtained. Turning either control clockwise  increases the output from that speaker, while turning fully counter clockwise reduces the output to zero.

Marantz RS 3559

Marantz Century series receivers reach new heights of flexibility and capability in home entertainment components. These multi-mode receivers can reproduce stereo music with subtle, delicate realism. With the transparency that Marantz is so well known for. Yet they can do far more.
All three Century receivers feature system remote control, four power amplifiers ( five on RS-3559), high-current amplifier design, oversized power transformers, illuminated alphanumeric display centers, station name display, preset scan, and are compatible with future standards for residential BUS remote control systems. And the RS-3359 features video sharpness control and video dubbing;
Superscope FX sound, which brings to the home music listening and theatre experiences a highly effective combination of technologies Dolby Surround Pro Logic with its highly effective logic steering, rear effects channels, and center dialogue channel. Digital delay to create a feeling of environmental spaciousness. Subwoofer capability to provide a solid foundation to the sound. And side-fill channels, for a heigh tened sense of realism.

The RS-3559 is equipped with Marantz unique Thermal tunnel, that keeps the receiver sounding open and transparent at all power levels. In traditional power amplifier designs, sound deteriorates when output transistors heat beyond their efficient thermal operating range. With standard technology heat  sinks cannot dissipate heat as fast as transitor temperatures rise under high power conditions. The thermal tunnel solves this problem by using assisted convection cooling under thermostatic control. At low power levels the thermal tunnel functions as a normal heat sink. As power dissipation rises, the thermal feedback system informs the master control circuitry, which operates a low-speed high-volume air circulator to accelerate cooling within the tunnel. As temperature rises, the circulation speed increases, keeping the output transistors in their ideal thermal range, for lowest distortion under all conditions.
The new Century series receivers Complete. Sophisticated. Flexible. Elegant transparent sound that's picture perfect.

Jensen Optimum Performance Concept

Many years ago, Jensen sound engineers went to work on a whole new concept in speaker design, OPC , the Optimum Performance Concept. It was based on one simple idea. That each part of a speaker system should be designed to help reproduce sound the way it was recorded. The same highs and lows. The same midranges. In all directions.
After five years of development, this concept has become a reality with Jensen's all-new OPC high fidelity line. It's been a long wait. But when you hear them, you'll know it's been worth it.

OPC means distortion-free bass response
Other speaker manufactures use cloth to connect the outer edge of a speaker cone to the speaker frame. We use exclusive Flexair foam suspension on every OPC speaker system for less restricted cone movement.

OPC means truer midranges
OPC speaker systems come with tuned isolation chambers. They're specially designed to smooth out midrange response and eliminate distortion resulting from mingling of frequencies in the speaker cabinet.

OPC means improved high frequency response
Our unique Sonodome tweeter disperses sound at a wide 170° angle to fill a room with brilliant highs… highs you're not used to hearing in home speakers of comparable price.

OPC  means functional design features
A specially designed bronzed-tinted dust cover shields and protects the optimum performance conrols. It is easily removed for ready access to the control panel and locks quickly back into place.
OPC means sound control
Not everyone likes to hear sound the same way. That's why we put optimum performance controls on the front of every OPC speaker system. These allow you to adjust the volume of bass, mid-range and hih frequencies without altering the sound itself. Each control is color keyed to speaker system components for esy reference (blue/bass; yellow/midrange; red/high frequency).

OPC means greater driving force
Instead of the metal magnets used by many other speaker manufacturers, we used super-powerful Syntox-6 magnets for greater activation of voice coils.
OPC means longer life
We're so pround of the way we built thase new jensens that we offer a full 5 year warranty. If anything goes wrong with your jensen OPC speaker, we'll fix it free of charge (including parts, labor and all shipping costs)
OPC means improved music blend
For true sound reproduction, a speaker must divide sound from an amplifier into high, low and midrange frequencies. Jensen found a way to do this better than anyone else. The CompTrac crossover network. It's computer-designed to more efficiently divide and channel sound

OPC means a whole different kind of speaker system
Be sure and see the new Jensen OPC speakers for yourself. You'll agree - they 're a revolution in sound.
