JVC R-S77 receiver

JVC's Most Powerful, Most Feature-Laden Receiver

60 watts per channel , min. RMS, both channels driven into 8 , form 20 Hz to 20 kHz with no more than 0,005% T.H.D.

Super-A power amplifier

S.E.A. Stereo Graphic Equalizer

Six FM and six AM preset stations

Ultra-low distortion and drift-free quartz synthesizer tuner section. Our best and most powerful receiver features the new Super-A power amp, digital frequency readout, LED peak power display, preset stations, and many, many more features.

Super-A power amp outputs distortions - all kinds

Switching distortion is gone. Crossover and other types of common (or less common) distortion are reduced to levels too insignificant to be audible. The R-S77's low distortion rating is the maximum measurable at any frequency and at any listening level Super-A makes it possible.

JVC quartz synthesizer tuning section; Drift-free and instant recall.

FM/AM tuning is electronically controlled through a quartz-PLL circuit to pinpoint your station and lock it in against drift from temperature change or shock. This amazing accuracy is available if you tune manually or use the Auto Scan to find and lock in the station you want.

A handy creative tool

The JVC S.E.A. with five equalizer controls gets you closer to the idea. Flat response - in your listening room. You can also emphasize a certain singer or instrument, suppress noise, hum, etc. The S.E.A. Recording switch lets you record the S.E.A. equalized program on a connected deck.

Peak Power indicator has eight LEDs per channel

You know at a glance the output power your receiver is pumping into your speakers. The range is wide enough and accurately calibrated for critical monitoring

FM tuner is both sensitivity and selective

The tuner section of the R-S77 is an advanced combination of microelectronics; a junction FET RF amp. Four paired variable capacitance diodes. PLL FM stereo demodulator IC  the front end is sensitive and selective.
