The RX-8SD comes with all the technology you need to enjoy theater sound from the videos you watch at home. Dolby Pro Logic Surround, high power for three front channels, our exclusive Theater DAP and three video connections ensure your enjoyment. But our new receiver is also designed for high musical purity, featuring high stereo power output, low-impedance (4 ) driving capability. Advanced Super-A and gold-plated terminals. Turn to JVC for entertainment in style.

High power for three front channels.

Set for Dolby Pro-Logic mode, the RX-8SD delivers the same high power to the front left, right and center channels. Equal high power for all three front channels ensures that sound and dialog are firmly locked to the screen, to dramatically enhance the sense of being in a theater.

Dolby Pro Logic Surround and Theater DAP

Dolby Pro Logic lets you experience the realistic equivalent of theater sound at home when you watch videos. With the RX-8SD, the sound is digitally processed for precise localization, low distortion and wide dynamic range. Theater DAP (Digital Acoustics Processor) enhances the sense of being in a theater with added hall reverberations.

Independent center-channel tone control

An independent center-channel control ensures you enjoy consistent and balanced sound from three front speakers, even it they are of different designs.
