Similar to
the Sansui Model 250 in size, looks and performance characteristics, this model
features an additional radio band in place of a multiplex circuit.
It is ideal
for places where stereo broadcasting facilities are not available. In addition
to regular AM and FM bands, the Model 220 offers worldwide radio pick-up
capabilities with a shortwave band frequency range from 3,5 to 10 MHz.
Compact with
12 tubes, two transistors and six diodes. Special FM AFC control for stable FM
reception, tape monitor, mode, loudness and noise filter controls.
This model
has also been provided with a multiplex terminal for fast and convenient
connection with a multiplex adaptor if desired.
