With th enew
integrated stereo amplifier, JVC introduces the new circuit design in the
often-negleted power supply of an amplifier. Adding no extra cost, our design
improves dynamic characteristics of the amp, reduces distortion and increases
power dynamics at one-channel driving.
The JA-S41
is the first of JVC's new line of amplifiers incorporating twin power supplies,
one for the Class-A operated preamplifier circuits (phono equalizer, tone
control circuit and predriver circuit) and the other for the Class-B operated
power-amplifier circuit. JVC technology has at last perfected a way to solve
the so-called "dynamic crosstalk distortion" problem. Pulsive and transient signals
applied to the power amplifier cause no tonal degradation, i.e. no loss of
definition, no increase in distortion and no lack of brilliance.
Yet in
caomparison with competititors' integrated amps using two separate power
supplies, one for each channel, our new technology adds very little to cost but
nevertheless performs better, reducing "soft" distortion and
increasing power when only one channel is driven.
You'll know
the JVC difference when you hear it; A/B between the JA-S41 and other
similarly-prieced models. Add such features as a big 60-watts per channel
power, ICL phono equalizer, twin-pot volume control and front-panel tape
terminals and the all-new JVC JA-S41 is a truly sophisticated hi-fi amplifier.
