The Imperial
II records directly onto disc from a variety of program sources - AM and FM
radio, tape, live performances and record to disc. The equipment is housed in 2
portable vinyl-covered cases. Rek-o-Kut's SPK-44 may be used with the Imperial
II for general sound amplification or playback.
The Imperial
II consists of:
Model TR-43H
: Three-speed recording turntable
Model R8B
: new 20 watt, low noise, transitorized
recording amplifier.
Model M-12S
: Overhead lathe
Model RH-5
: Newly designed wide range recording
head.
Model S-120
: High fidelity tonearm.
Recording
amplifier Model R8B offers the following advantages:
A compact
and versatile combination of three separate transistorized preamplifiers and
20-watt power Amplifier.
Choice of
mixing or separate use of three outputs from Microphone, Tape and Phono
Preamplifiers, as desired.
Specially
designed tone controls for exact compensation of recording equalization or
playback.
Individually
selected, low-noise transistors for low signal-to-noise ratio in recording and
playback.
Specifications
of Imperial II
