feature Dual's unique, patented Vario-belt drive system with high-torque
synchronous motor, Vario-pulley and precision-ground belt.
Speeds can
be changed even while the platter is rotating, and the belt is never twisted or
distorted. Speeds are adjusted by expansion.

Low Mass
ULM is
Dual's exclusive Ultra Low Mass tonearm and cartridge system with total
effective mass less than 8 grams. That's less than half the mass of
conventional tonearm and cartridge combinations. This major breakthrough by Dual has been
acclaimed throughout tha audio industry, especially by the independent test
labs. These labs have begun to use warped records as "real-life" test
instruments.
