When a
speaker system as unusually well designed as the Pioneer HPM-60 goes to work,
the meaning of musical "realism" is well beyond words. Pioneer's
success with the unique woofer cone material called "Carbon Fiber
Blend" is now well known throughout the high fidelity world, as is the
Pioneer development of a High Polymer Supertweeter that ends narrow-beam
tweeter directionality and assures a more natural, cleaner high-end
reproduction. Both these remarkable innovations and more besides are included
in the 4-way, 4-speaker HPM-60 system.
They
contribute to very clearly defined sound image projection for the most
realistic musical reproduction Pioneer's technical knowhow has yet achieved in
such a compact, attractively priced system.
Special
features, level Controls.
Individual
controls are provided for the Mid and High frequency ranges, and when set at
"0" a suggested output characteristic is obtained. Turning either
control clockwise increases the output
from that speaker, while turning fully counter clockwise reduces the output to
zero.
