What is stereo?

There are now two system of high fidelity, monophonic (monaural) and stereophonic. Monophonic is a system that starts from one microphone and is fed through a single high fidelity set. Stereophonic is a double system. Two separate microphones are placed at different sides of the orchestra and two different systems are used to keep the two signals or channels separated. Two separate speakers are used, placed on different sides of you room. Stereo is much like 3-D photography, two slightly different sound reach your ears giving you a new dimension in sound.

C.E.C Disco 4000MkII

 No Noticeable Feedback
In the eardrum bursting environment of loud disco  music, it is very important to have no feedback. CEC has achieved this almost impossible task through its years of experience in turntable design and manufacture. Disco 4000MkII has such feedback preventing features as a special damper in the tonearm section, high mass damped cabinet support structure and a three-layer structure that is a breakthrough in turntable design. Resting on shock absorbing rubber dampers, the turntable is isolated from any outside vibrations. As a final measure, the plate that lies between the turntable and rubber damper supports is a heavy die cast metal plate that further separates the system from its environment for perfect record play. Feedback absorbing design is perfected in the Disco 4000MkII to virtually eliminate physical vibration.
 Sensitivity In a Brutal Environment
Designed to excel in the highly competitive world of disco performance, Disco4000MkII incorporates advanced features and high performance required by true professionals.
Quick Start Operation
In the world of disco, instant response is vital to high performance. This advanced turntable has quick start features for perfect starting in ¼ revolution (at 33 1/3 rpm). A superb combination of high torque DD quartz lock motor and high performance aluminum die cast turntable flywheel crystalizes the effect of quality built into this advanced Disco 4000MkII. The newly developed electronic braking circuit enables quick stops in 1/3 revolution. True professional disco operation is now made much easier with this most suitable turnable.
Wide Variation Pitch Control and Other Features
Pitch control has a wide variation of ±8% and the difficult to locate groove is more easily found with the help of a detachable illumination lamp. The quick start/stop switch is separate from the power switch and the quartz On/Off switch is useful for cases when speed variation is not needed. CEC has considered the smallest requirements and given its largest effort to making Disco 4000MkII a turntable to be desired by every professional in the disco field.

Wired Remote Control Keeps The Situation in Hand
The built-in wired remote control unit keeps the busiest situations in hand by controlling the player's quick start/stop and replay. Multiplayer operation is now possible and other disco equipment can be operated simultaneously with minimum distraction.
Low Mass, S-Shape, Static Balanced Tonearm
CEC has been perfecting its tonearms year-by-year and now has incorporated into Disco 4000MkII a low mass, S-shape static tonearm with high sensitivity ball bearings. Further stability is provided by the diecast aluminum strongman that provides the critical link to the housing. Strong and delicate, the tonearm has a removable head that is designed for quick change in case of stylus damage. An extra head is provided as standard equipment of disco play where quick cartridge change can mean the difference between success and disaster.

Loved by Homepros Also
The hemepro, that perso who demands the best in the home, will find Disco 4000MkII a real delight to use and enjoy. The oil damped cuing device gently lowers the stylus with great precision and absoulte silence every time.
