The
AR-2x are lower cost versions of our basic acoustic suspension
design. AR-2x has a 10-inch bass speaker, mounted in an acoustically sealed
enclosure filled with glass wool, and in addition , a small, high-dispersion
cone speaker. Separate controls on
the back of the AR-2x permit independent adjustment of the level of
the midrange / high frequency speakers. The
performance standard in the design of the AR-2x was the same as that
for the AR-3a; natural reproduction of music without exaggeration or
artificiality of sound. But where quality in the case of the AR-3a hes been
limited only by the state of the art. And our own engineering skill, here price
is also a consideration.
