What is stereo?

There are now two system of high fidelity, monophonic (monaural) and stereophonic. Monophonic is a system that starts from one microphone and is fed through a single high fidelity set. Stereophonic is a double system. Two separate microphones are placed at different sides of the orchestra and two different systems are used to keep the two signals or channels separated. Two separate speakers are used, placed on different sides of you room. Stereo is much like 3-D photography, two slightly different sound reach your ears giving you a new dimension in sound.

Adoption of a superior low noise FET at front-end achieving high sensitivity and S/Nratio

A linear phase ceramic filter is utilized to establish both high selectivity and low distortion at the intermediate frequency amplification stage. A linear quadrature detector IC is used, encompassing a very wide frequency range. Superior separation has been achieved by the PLL-MPX IC with low distortion and high Signal-to-Noise Ratio characteristics in the stereo demodulation section

Adoption of the electronic switch for FM and AM change-over enables to prevent sound quality deterioration by reciprocal signal interference.

A low impedance loop antenna with compact size is used for AM broadcast reception. It features good electric field noise characteristics, free to detach from rear panel and able to set up better receiving location

Smooth travel of the dial indicator is achieved by the application of newly developed fly-wheel which greatly improved dial and backlash.
