Super-Clean
Stereo FM/AM Receiver
How much
does good clean electronics circuit design contribute to better tonal quality?
Find out by test-listening to the all-new Pioneer SX-550. we've used
extra-large, custom-designed integrated printed circuit board in the preamp and
tuner sections to almost entirely eliminate shielded wire connections inside.
This in turn cuts the loss of vital high frequency signals to practically zero,
greatly boosting tonal realism.
A
particularly good RIAA equalization (±0,3 dB) and equally good S/N and dynamic
range performance have been achieved in the SX-550's phono equalizer. The CR
type tone control circuitry a versatile two-deck tape monitor/dubbing facility,
FET and IC equipped FM/AM section (with PLL IC stereo demodulator) and other
superior features make the SX-550 still more of a value in its class.
Continuous
power output is a super-steady 20 watts per channel , min. RMS, at 8 ohms from
20 to 20,000 Hz, with no more than 0,3% total harmonic distortion. The good,
clean design of the pioneer SX-550 inside and out does make a difference. It's
a difference you can hear at your Pioneer Hi-Fi system.
