The DCD-3300
compact laser disc player utilizes a unique Denon Super Linear Converter which
prevents deterioration of soun quality in the PCM playback system, assuring
accurate reproduction of sound record on compact laser disc, in the studio or
in live sound production areas. the parts for this high performance disc player
have been selected with careful discrimination, to produce high quality,
realistic playback of the full musical production.
Features:
Double Super
Linear Converter
This unique,
Denon converter system prevents the zero-cross distortion that causes
deterioration in PCM reproduction quality. The result is perfect reproduction
of concert hall quality.
Optical
Isolator
Used for
transmitting digital signals, this isolator converts digital signals into
optical ones, thereby eliminating undesirable noise interference between tha
digital servo and audio circuits.
Wireless
Remote Control
An accessory
remote control unit has a veriety of general functions such as Play, Stop and
Pause and a ten-key key-pad controlling direct music selection, direct
programming and time search functions. this
remote control capability gives the DCD-3300 yet greater versatility.
High-performance
Digital Filters
The DCD-3300
uses an independent D/A converter for L and R channels, with four, super
sampling, high-precision digotal filters. A Denon-original lattice-type linear
phase "C.A.L.P." (Computer Analyzed Linear Phase) filter also
provides flat frequency characteristics. This analog filter is ideal for
ensuring excellent starting characteristics and clear sound reproduction.
Specially-Designed
Audio Power Transformer
Two
independent power transformers are used for the digital servo and audio
circuits. Combined with the large capacity power condeser, they stabilize the
audio circuitry.
Sound System
Provided with Balance Output
The balance
output (load 600 ohm) is operated with a canon connector. Offering three types
of output: Fixed, Variable (Imbalance) and Variable (Balance), this sound
system can meet professional requirements.
Quick Search
Function
A starting
point for play canbe designated in seconds, providing easier operation for both
reference and professional purposes.
Original
Denon Linear Motor
Designed for
quick and smooth running, the linear motor greatly reduces access time and
improves tracking resolution, resulting in enhanced high fidelity reproduction.
Optical
Output of Digital Information
Musical
information on a compact disc can be digitally output for reproduction by an
external digital processor or D/A unit. An optical output is added to two
coaxial outputs, eliminating noise interference and improving sound quality.
