The large
size of the R352 with its furniture-finished real wood veneer is a dramatic
sight to behold. Listening to the R352 is no less impressive.
The
R352 is a two-way bass reflex design with specially built woofers incorporating
uniquely shaped megnets resulting in low-mass bass-midrange drivers that are
highly efficient, fast and capable of producing deep tight bass. The cabinets
are heavily braced and precisely lined with ¾ inch acoustic foam producing an uncommonly dead box, particularly
considering the size.
Both the
woofer and tweeter are mounted to the front baffle using T-bolts, thus ensuring
a good, tight fit. Internal wiring is with Monitor Audio 100 strand cooper
cable. The efficiency of the R352, coupled with its high power handling
capabilities, means that very high levels can be producedeven when using
moderately sized amplifiers and receivers. Listening to them is to be truely
