What is stereo?

There are now two system of high fidelity, monophonic (monaural) and stereophonic. Monophonic is a system that starts from one microphone and is fed through a single high fidelity set. Stereophonic is a double system. Two separate microphones are placed at different sides of the orchestra and two different systems are used to keep the two signals or channels separated. Two separate speakers are used, placed on different sides of you room. Stereo is much like 3-D photography, two slightly different sound reach your ears giving you a new dimension in sound.

Provided with Cue/Quick Review Control for speedy replay
Permits mixing for recording
Automatic end stop system

SST System
This is anintegrated system composed of 4 elements
1-Since the pinch roller holder is rightly fixed to the main chassis, the parallel position of the pinch roller and capstan is accurately maintained, and accordingly the tape always runs stably. (Vertical fluctuaction of the tape is prevented and thre is minimum wow and flutter.)
2-Since the tape hub is kept floating by a special reel shaft, no extra friction is added to the torque. Accordingly stable running of tape is ensured.
3-During FWD, the pulley rotates only to the minimum necessary degree, so there is no element to increase wow and flutter unnecessarily.
4-The whole amplifier circuit is driven by power from a stabilized power source, whereby that circuit and of course the delicate Dolby circuit and bias generating circuit are extremely stabilized.

Other Features:
Employ a high weight flywheel
Oil damping elevation system conforming to its luxurious system an oil damping device which elevator the cassette slowly and gently when the cover is opened.
Free stop device of dust cover . Another new feature permits the dust cover to be opened and set at any point you desire.
Removable type free-stop dust cover. Protects the delicate and precise mechanism from dust
Tape-run indicator with light emitting diode. Possible to check tape running at a glence. Service life of the light-emitting diode is semi-permanent.
DIN/PIN autochangeover. Insert PIN cord and it automatically changes to PIN, ever if DIN cord is inserted.
Large size VU meter
Tape illuminator lamp full auto-stop mechanism.
