What is stereo?




There are now two system of high fidelity, monophonic (monaural) and stereophonic. Monophonic is a system that starts from one microphone and is fed through a single high fidelity set. Stereophonic is a double system. Two separate microphones are placed at different sides of the orchestra and two different systems are used to keep the two signals or channels separated. Two separate speakers are used, placed on different sides of you room. Stereo is much like 3-D photography, two slightly different sound reach your ears giving you a new dimension in sound.

Acoustic Energy AE2 loudspeakers


The Acoustic Energy, model AE2 is a high-power, compact, two-way loudspeaker, featuring the new patented "Metal Cone" bass/mid-range drive unit.
The "Metal-Cone" drive unit is a breakthrough in diaphragm technology and provides unequalled mid-band calrity, remarkable transparency and stero imaging due to the almost complete elimination of distortion
The use of two Bass/Mid range driver units in the AE2 gives further bass extension whilst retaining the speed and control of the unique "Metal-Cone".
The single most important element of a speaker is the diaphragm and the unique design of the Acoustic Energy "Metal-Cone" also provides exceptiona a power handling and durability.
