FM/AM Stereo Receiver
Brilliant Stereo performance, Amazing Stereo Value.
Ideal for den, dorm, or as the electronic center of a second stereo system in your home, Kenwood's KR-2200 receiver boasts performance specifications and control features that belie its budget price. Convinced that a lower powered receiver need not sacrifice sound quality within its ratings, Kenwood engineers have come up with a receiver whose technical specifications and features will truly astound you. If 30-watts of dynamic )IHF) power is all you need or can afford, the KR-2200 will give you the most for your stereo investment.
Power Amplifier Section
Harmonic and intermodulation Distortion of the power amplifier section of the KR-2200 is less than 0,8% at rated output, and the amplifier can handle any speaker impedance from 4 Ω to 16 Ω . At normal listening levels, distortion is actually less than 0,2%
Mike Mixing In any mode
A unique features that will certainly add to your stereo enjoyment, Mike Mixing permits you to blend your own voice or instrumental accompaniment with sound from any other program source. Microphone jack and level control are positioned on the front panel for convenience
Sophisticated Controls for your sound system
The KR-2200 provides a broad range of controls to give you complete mastery over your sound system. Beside the individual bass and treble tone controls, a dual concentric Volume/Balance Control enables you to set up precise channel balance in addition to controlling overall loudness. A Speaker Selector Switch activates two pairs of stereo speaker systems, either individually or simultaneously , to let you enjoy stereo in different locations. An input Selector chooses AM, FM Auto, FM Mono, Phone, or Tape/Aux, while a Loudness Compensation Switch permits low-level listening.
FM Tuner Section
A FET (Field Effect Transistor) in the specially-designed front end, a three-section tuning system, and a permanently aligned mechanical IF filter give the KR-2200 an IHF sensitivity of 2,5 µV with a Signal-to-Noise Ratio of better than 60 dB. With an FM stereo separation of 30 dB at 1000 Hz and a spurious signal rejection of 80 dB, you can be sure of clean, interference-free FM reception of all your favorite FM stations.
Other Features
